We've noticed that Royal Mail are taking a bit of time to get our coffee to you.
Our roasting schedule should mean that coffee is delivery to you Saturday at the latest. However this hasn't been the case recently and delivery times are at least 1 or 2 days longer than normal second class mail.
We have looked at switching to Hermes or something similar but all evidence points to the fact that for small orders at least RM is the best solution for coffee deliveries.
Another challenge we've seen (and it's a good one) is that our order volume has increased. This is partly due to Covid-19 and stay at home coffee customers but we've also recently updated our website and have launched a few new coffee offerings. All in all as a small two-man-band coffee roastery we're still operating with our operational ceiling so that's good. Another uptick might mean we have to look at that again!
