Onwards and upwards. Well actually up the road, round the corner and up a hill to be specific.
We're relocating to an old bull shed in a nearby village in rural South Cambridgeshire. It's going to take a few months to get everything right and in the meantime we're operating from a couple of locations to maintain our current roasting schedule. If you happen to stumble across The Courtyard in Papworth Everard on a Wednesday you'll find one of us packing your coffee and rushing it out of the door to get the last post.
When we're done with the conversion of the barn we'll be able to roast coffee more frequently and with some added enhancements including more green bean storage and an electrostatic filter to reduce the pollutants from the coffee roasting process.
Over the coming year we're going to move towards a carbon neutral coffee offer which is kind of difficult when the nearest coffee producing country is over 4000 miles away (and I'm not sure that the coffee from there is any good!)
It's going to take some time but we're committed to giving you the customer a environmentally friendly coffee offer that we can all stand by.
